okay, somebody made a posting as me, but I didn't post this!
David thought of designing a hat with a retractable top for his fourth-year engineering project, as the Skydome was just being inaugurated, and as I recall someone dissuaded him from doing the project as it seemed insufficiently worthy of his talents.
