Music For Moppets LAUNCHED at Family Literacy Day
It's official
with lots of support and help from family and beyond, Today at the Peterborough Square festivities for Family Literacy Day, Music For Moppets was launched.
The "happy feet" penguins had a case of Moppet Pox and were coloufully spotty on the top of the display
polkas and balloons were beacons for children and their parents
(all balloons were quickly snatched up at the close by kids who asked for one, but came back upon the end as requested by me)
I had lots of great feedback, media interviews & photo opps, met with past grads of Parent Child Mother Goose, asked to read and do songs at another event and next year too, got contacts for my new programs and for other areas I will tap into as time and planning permits
what a day
Glenn and Fiona were there with moppet buttons on and we even had moppet cups.
now for a break for a couple days to get back to the norm
cheers and thanks for all your background support to make this go LIVE LAUNCH!
hugs

boondoggling
So, who'd have thought? All four of us in this generation have businesses. The entrepreneurial spirit in this family is extraordinary!
Idea for some year we're looking for a tax break:
We can all (including kids if we like), and our entrepreneur friends (like Rob & Cath, for example) go to some nice holiday destination and share business expertise on various topics (after all, we DO know a whole lot of stuff!) and call it professional development, and write it off against taxes.
This assumes, of course, that we have income.
But nice idea, eh?
Love, and wishing you good business for all,
Judy

BUSH?
I was looking in THE BOOK (as it shall henceforth be known) and saw a xmas pic with a VERY wide tree in it. how odd. then, cleaning the bradt server, I found these pics (click this link) and recalled dad's mentioning of the year he went out in the rain, supposedly alone, and came back with a ridiculed tree. short, wide... a bush perhaps? is that the one?

A full house
Christmas Day
It was great having everyone come by our house this year. Even the Calgary Clan was in the house on Christmas and New Years Eve. Thanks to all of you who helped make it a whole new kind of best Holiday Season.
New Years Eve
We'll try to post a Gallery of the festivities on in a future post.

Smiles and Chuckles...are good ANY time!
Click HERE to see the best-of from New Year's Eve Day with Lorne, Corinne and Simon (which is to say, I left out the pictures where people were unfixably AND unartistically blurred or didn't look their best, but I *had* to include the one with David on the computer next to Corinne)!
And, Dave, I made the thumbnails bigger, just for you!
Thanks for a wonderful visit with everyone, and happy new year!
Love,
Judy

Happy New Year!
Just wanted to be first to say happy new year. We were out in McKenzie Towne with the old neighbours, and celebrated as the ball fell in New York. That let us blow the noise makers, have a sip of champagne, and be home before 11:00 pm.
